Peggy Davis
My husband and I are both natives of Richmond, VA. Together, we have four sons and one grandson. We all love being in nature and enjoying outdoor activities. Our church home is Hope Church.
I majored in commercial interior design at VCU and worked in that field for many years. I was then honored to serve six years as an Executive Director of the Pregnancy Support Center in Petersburg. But to my core, I am an artist. I have made sculptures, pottery, and painted landscapes and still life’s all of my life and have spent several decades running my business as a professional artist and painting teacher.
I came to serve at Plentiful after Covid hit. My gallery and studio schools and exhibits closed. But God worked it to good! He gave us rest, time with family, and time in his creation, nature. In October of 2022, when I attended a dear friend's father’s funeral, I met a couple of sweet gals from Plentiful, and became reacquainted with Annhorner and Elizabeth.
I have come full circle, to the service of delicious foods to wonderful people. In my twenties, as a young mom, I waitressed in the fine dining room of Hyatt House Hotel and then served cocktails at Steak and Ale. In my forties, I served at my neighbor’s fine catering business. That neighbor and friend is now Plentiful’s own Rebecca Young.
Being part of Plentiful is a blessing. We are more like a family. We love to serve others with excellence. I love my boss and leader, I love the staff, and I love our clients. The flexible hours and additional income are just the icing on top. Best of all, serving others at Plentiful Foods is great fun!
Fun Fact:
In my earlier days I was a Miller & Roads teen model.
