Roseanne Adams
Born in Birmingham, AL, I grew up in Asheville, NC before settling in Richmond with my husband, George. He and I delight in being near our daughter, Melissa, and her sweet family, and we enjoy lots of time together with the two active grandsons.
Everyone knows that I love hiking, camping, and backpacking and just being outdoors. So, it may be no surprise that I earned my BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. I’ve also worked retail; have taught four and five-year-olds in Sunday School forever; have worked for an office systems company; have taught science to elementary, middle and high school students; and have coordinated meals and cooked Wednesday night dinners at church (for hundreds!) for years. Lots of varied experience, which keeps life interesting! And now I work at Plentiful.
My interest in cooking and food prep began as a child. I cooked many meals over campfires for groups in scouting, and I have just always loved cooking and baking good quality food for others.
I thought it would be fun to get back into fixing meals for others and imagined it would be something I could do after retiring from teaching. I am still teaching! But I greatly enjoy working for and with Annhorner and all of the team. Plentiful is such a fun, loving, and supportive place to work.
Fun Fact:
I ran roller coasters and a ferris wheel at Ghost Town in the Sky in Maggie Valley, NC one summer.
